Day 18 – China’s National Day – 中国国庆日

Day 18

Today is the China’s National Day. It is also the day whereby we will get to know our exam results. Well, the campus was quite empty as many local students went home as they have 7 days of holiday. We had Physiology lectures in the morning and afternoon on Circulatory System and Respiratory System.

During the lunch break, Jas Min, Geena and I went back to our rooms to check our exam results. Frankly speaking, I was quite surprised to know my results, hahaJ I did quite well as in I met my target. After the afternoon lecture, we went back to our rooms and our timetable for next semester is out! That is fast!

However, I am not really happy with the timetable as my IS is on Wednesday afternoons and I prefer it to be in the morning of either Monday or Friday. But this timetable is subject to changes so I really hope that there will be changes, hahaJ

I have kind of found something to do during free time and that is to watch a Hong Kong drama 《公主嫁到》. It is funny and I like it a lotJ I am now currently watching the 5th episode. With that, I shall continue watching J

Reflections

Well, since today is China’s National Day, I shall wish China “Happy Birthday!” hahaJ There are indeed many differences between Singapore and China. For instance, the way in how they celebrate National Day. I am not sure if China also has National Day Parade like Singapore’s but the schools here do not seem to have celebrations. This is different in Singapore as most schools have celebrations. In addition, China has 7 days of holiday while Singapore only has 1 or 2 days of holiday. No matter what, I think each country has its own way of celebrations.
