Hey guys! I am back from SHOPPING!!! Today is a tiring day for me especially since I shopped for 3 hours before resting. AND I spent almost RMB 400 today!!! Anyway, this morning we had a quiz and again I made a mistake. After that, we had a lecture on Digestive System. After the lecture, we discussed on our cultural exchange performance which is on next Wednesday. By then, it was already 1pm.
We went back to the dormitory rooms to put down our notes, etc before heading out at 1.30pm. Within 20 minutes, bus 702 arrived and all 13 of us SQUEEZED on board. Thank god the pole was right in front of me and that I could reach it, if not, I had to find someone to cling on again, hahaJ But still, I was not happy at all. The ride was bumpy and the bus driver kept having sudden brakes, causing me and some other people to lose our balance.

20 minutes later, we reached but then we had to walk to the mall so it was about 2.30pm when we reached the foodcourt. Most of us ate dim sum and I shared the food with Jas Min. An hour later, we officially started SHOPPING!!!
Lunch: Dim Sum (shared with Jas Min)
I have read the English version! Didn't know that there is Chinese version too!
3.5 hours later, all of us gathered and had dinner at a small café but the food was nice! I ordered Spaghetti with Spicy Sausage (西西里香肠面) but it came out to be macaroni with sausage instead. BUT thank god it was nice or else … …
Jas Min's, Letty's, Geena's, Melissa's and Kimberley's dinner: Baked rice with curry chicken!
My dinner: Spaghetti with Spicy Sausage but it was in fact Macaroni with sausage in pepper sauce!
While waiting for the rest to finish, Eddy did something funny. Just look at the following photos!! FOCUS on his expressions!!!

After dinner, we headed back to the dormitory rooms by taking cabs. However, most drivers didn’t know the way to the campus! Luckily, Melissa, Jas Min and I met a good driver who not only knew how to drive us back but also warned us about the “black market taxi” (strangers who claimed that they can drive us to wherever we want to go and they are not registered drivers). He even chatted with us and said that we spoke fluent Chinese, hahaJ
By the time we reached our dormitory rooms and after I had showered and packed my shopping goods, it was already 9.30pm. Right now, my legs were so tired that I could hardly walk. That’s all for todayJ
Reflections:
I am glad to have met such a good cab driver just now. I have always thought that all or most Chinese bus/ cab drivers will be rude, etc because of all the previous unhappy experiences. BUT the cab driver who drove us back just now changed my opinion. In addition, when we alighted, he even asked if we were 15 and above. This just seemed so different from what I have always thought. Thanks cab driver! You helped to change my viewpoint that all bus/cab drivers are rude.
P.S. From this trip, I know who I can look for when I want to go shopping and the person is JAS MIN, my best shopping partner, hahaJ
